Cake Smash & first birthday SESSIONS
Time goes by so very quickly and before you know it, your helpless cuddly newborn baby starts growing and changing into a curious toddler. During this time, the "firsts" fly by and can happen before you may be ready. Many parents say that wish they had the gift of slowing down time. Unfortunately, I can't slow down these precious moments, but I can freeze them so you can look back on them forever.
It is so exciting to watch these little ones discover the new and exciting world around them and develop their very unique personalities. The best part of my job is being able to watch my little clients grow from the tiny newborn stage, to toddlers - sitting up on their own and laughing at silly faces, to crawling, walking and grabbing everything in sight, eating their first taste of their first birthday cake at heir cake smash session, talking and singing their favorite songs, to being able to hold full conversations with all of their thoughts and opinions. For parents, with every milestone there is such a feeling of pride watching their toddler navigate the world and seeing the person they will become. No matter what age of a toddler; rollers, sitters, movers, smashers, and splashers, we will capture your toddler's true personality so that you can remember every age and stage.
Cake Smash sessions are a must for their biggest milestone of all, the 1st Birthday . Doing photos at every important milestone such as when they can hold their head up, when they are sitting unattended, and right when they turn one are my favorite times to have your toddler's portraits taken. A client favorite is always the one year cake smash where we take adorable portraits and then watch them chow down on their first cake. I provide a client closet full of adorable handmade outfits of all sizes for your session as well as the cake, balloon garland, and all props needed. We even do bath-time photos with the cake smash or first birthday sessions, or as I call them "smash and splash" photos (fruit baths, milk baths, or bubble baths) after the cake to clean up the mess.
I can assure you that no matter what your child's personality or age, I will be able to bring out all of the smiles and create beautiful memories for you to cherish forever. I may have to sing "Baby Shark", hit myself in the head with puppets, or tell potty jokes, but I promise that I will do whatever I need to do, and I mean anything! I make sure that these sessions are fun for all ages, I will pull out all of the tricks to make sure that your toddler's true smile shines through in every image I take.
