Newborn photography is a special skill that requires much more training and patience than a normal portrait session. You wouldn't let just anyone care for your child and it is just as important to choose someone who is experienced and trusted when choosing a Northern VA newborn photographer. I am well aware that for a lot of my clients, this will be one of the first times they will be taking their newborn out of the cocoon of their home.

My Loudoun VA photography studio allows me to be able to utilize all of my professional equipment in an environment that is created to ensure that my sessions are as safe and as efficient as possible. I have special posing and soothing tools that I cannot travel with. These items help me soothe and pose your baby safely. Without them, sessions take much more time and would be more disruptive to your baby, even when done in your own home. Also, I have everything set up exactly as it needs to be and I can control all of my surroundings, ensuring that your photos are consistent and display the type of perfection that you deserve.

I specialize in posed newborn photography in Northern VA. I am extremely patient, gentle, and I have learned through my many years of experiance to listen to your baby and their body language in order to soothe and comfort them throughout my posing flow so that they are comfortable and happy. If I dont feel that your baby is comfortable I will move on to another pose, I will never force anything.

Your newborn session will be done within the first 1-4 weeks after your baby is born. This is the best time to do your session as they are still used to being curled up in your tummy. At this stage, I can curl them up in those adorable poses that we all love as they are malleable and very sleepy. I provide a hair and make-up option for all of the mommas so that they can sit back and be pampered while watching all of the fun because you deserve to be pampered and feel your best right after giving birth. I provide everything you need including an incredibly large selection of handmade custom items to assure your photos are perfectly styled and that every detail is perfect.
