Leesburg VA Cake Smash Photoshoot

Happy Happy Birthday! This sweet boy turned the big O-N-E and w are so happy for this little guy. His Leesburg VA Cake Smash Photoshoot was a blast. Baby M’s parents wanted to celebrate his birthday is a special way so she hired us as her Fairfax VA Cake Smash Photographer.

For his Cake Smash Photoshoot we used balloons from Pop Fest Co (link) to make the balloon garland. We started with portraits using a wooden bed from Rozzi Rayne Props (link).We always take portraits before the cake smash portion of the shoot so that the baby’s parents have some beautiful photos to remember this fun age.

After the portraits baby M put on an adorable outfit made by Threads and Evergreen (link). We let him smash his first birthday cake and have a little fun. We let him get as messy as he wanted, and trust me he did get some of it in his mouth. He loved his cake as you can clearly see!

After the cake we cleaned him up with a little bath time. This is one of my favorite parts of cake smash sessions because the little ones love splashing around in the tub, and it cleans them up for mom and dad too!
