Cake Smash Photos for the big O-N-E

This little miss celebrated her first birthday with a cake smash photo shoot at our Fairfax, VA Toddler Photography studio. She was full of smiles and laughs while we sang songs and danced to keep her laughing. This neutral cake smash photo shoot was is one of my favorite color tones. I was so happy when mom and dad chose neutrals for their little girls birthday.

Portraits

For all cake smash photo shoots, we use a luxury balloon garland from PopFest.co ( link ). We chose to use neutrals and tans for this session to mach the cute outfits her parents picked. For her first set of portraits we used an adorable cream ruffled toddler/sitter outfit made by Threads and Evergreen ( link ). For her second set of photos for her cake smash photo shoot momma chose an adorable white ribbed onesie with a matching headband from Hello Little Props ( link ).

Cake Smash Photos

Next we changed her outfit into an adorable brown onesie and brought out the cake! I love using semi-naked cakes for my cake smash photo shoots because I love the organic and natural look it adds to the photos. This toddler loved her birthday cake! She ate and played and although she didn’t get too dirty, she had a great time.
